Its been real but its over... officially


so to all and everyone that sees this i think we can safely say LPF supplied us with endless fun and joy. All the member that have been here 2+ years will know what i'm talking about. LPF now being a small shadow of its past when it was one of the biggest LP fan sites around.

The one thing that made us different from the rest of the fan sites was that we never really cared about LP. Think about it... it took days for news to get here, but we didnt care, LPT or LPU was there. Here it was about community and fun. I still remember staying up for hours during the night laughing with jos, tomer, davon and those guys. Making weird jokes and just having a good time. I thought (hoped) it would last forever.

Each day was average till i had my LPF session. Well like we all know things happened... people fought, at times it was funny and at times it was sad. Stenners was always there to heat things up and create another fun to watch spectacle. Damn writing this makes me miss those times even more.

Then there was the SOTW that was small but fun, its a good thing breakdown conspiracy only became what he is now after they ended

I cant even remember all the names of people that used to make this place the best forum on the net. They know who they are though. The internet has been boring ever since which it probably a good thing for me since i dont spend much time on it anymore.

All that aside thanks for those who read this. Ive had real good times, but it seems its over for good at LPF. This is thus my official resignation from this site. Its dead and dead it shall stay.
I shall now hang out at relevant forums if you want to join it seems like a fun new place atlien (creator of LPF) made.

Wow, I’ve been around for 5 years and 6 days as of the day this is written and I seriously can not believe it has been that long. Time has gone by so fast, and I have changed so much. Academically, mentally, in my knowledge of LP and basically everything. I am so different than back then. I joined when I was just an LP noob and learned so much along the way. Though I now have forgotten some, mostly due to not caring so much about LP anymore, I like to think that at one point I was an expert with my LP knowledge. I rose through the ranks of this place over time, making so many friends along the way. I never claimed to be perfect but always tried to do my best for this place.

I said Id never leave until the end, and I suppose that time has finally come. Some of the highlights... SOTW, LPF Island, LPF Awards (even when they became crazy), the feuds, the flaming of the noobs... and overall the sense of community that this place once had. I have yet to find anything like it anywhere else upon the web. Maybe we just had the right people, maybe the internet is changing, evolving into something new, who knows. I am just so glad that I was able to be here and share in this experience with everyone. To me LPF was not a website, but instead a community, and I will miss it dearly.

If anyone wants to contact me on AIM, my screename is the same as my username. We can chat it up on facebook or somethin. If not, then let me just say I will miss you, and farewell.

Tad bit ironic.. My first login in months just to delete spam earlier then I get an IM from Dave letting me know its official..

Its been a long time since I've posted, and I am a completely different person then I was when I joined.. It's really said to officially say good-bye to this place.. It was a major part of my life a few years ago.. I am not even a fan of Linkin Park anymore, but some of the people here that I came to know will always hold a place in my heart... I wish everyone a nice and successful life, and I hope to see you around the net somewhere else..

I stiil wish I made elite on the last promotion...oh well we all had some good times on here I'll miss it!

Best times were probably whenever we had a huge forum war...angry AIM chats to plan revenge...me invited to join both sides and I usually did.

EDIT: Also my giant sig trend that made every thread impossible to read and created a new rule,that was fun too.

I love LPF

It'll always be in a special place in my heart...I got into LP big time when I came here. This was a gateway for many things I did in the LP world and I'm glad to have been a part of the site from 2005-now. I wasn't active from 2008-now very much but I really enjoyed the community here.

all those fucking fights with Ref, Stenners...man LPF rocked.
