View Full Version : [Photoshop Tutorial]Extracting

This is a tutorial that shows you how to extract a picture have fun :wink:

1)Open the pic that has something that you want to cut out.

2) Goto FILTER > EXTRACT now click on the marker icon on the left.

3) slowly start to outline the thing that you want to cut out. I usually zoom in 2-3 times and use a brush size of 2-5. (this depends on how big the picture is) In this particular pic, i zoomed in twice and am using brush size 4.

4) Once you have it outlined. click the fill tool.

5) Click anywhere inside the outlined figure.

6) Well now just click preview on the right side. then click ok. and your done.

hey great tutorial!! i just got photo shop cause i absolutely had to mess around with LP pics now i know how to exstract!! thanks alot!

WTF! you guys use filter-->extract!!! the pen tool is far easier and gives way better results.

hey well I searched google a ton of times just now looking for a good photo shop download. But all the ones I found were like adobe photo shop. I tryed downloading a couple but when I do it downloads from this other download program and then gets unzipped and this and it is stupid. So anyone know a good site with a download that is not a long process? lol thanks
