Blending
Ryan pm't me with the question how did the blending on my sig so i will post a tutorial here
This tutorial is written by: The Fire Inside I just made a linkin park version of it
This tutorial should help your pictures blend into the background better, it keeps them solid, but also stops them from looking like they were simply placed there with little effort.
1. Open a new document, make a background and select a PSD or cut a picture to go on it.
2. Drag the cut/PSD onto the background.

3. Duplicate the picture layer Layers>Duplicate layer. Call this layer, BLUR.
4. Select the BLUR layer from the layers palette and then go to Filters>Blur>Motion Blur. Apply these settings:

5. Press CTRL+F to reapply the filter. Do this three times.
6. Then go to Layers>Arrange>Send Backward (or press CTRL + ] ).
7. Select the layer with the original cut, and change the blending mode to Overlay.

8. There you have it, a blending technique that’s easy and takes almost no time at all. But remember that it always depends on the type of background that you have (Light backgrounds support this blend better than dark ones, keep this in mind).Well i hope this tutorial helpt you 8)
