Many of you participated in the Linkin Park video shoot for "Faint" and remember standing in a crowd in front of a wall of lights, jumping and screaming at the top of your lungs while the band played "Faint" onstage. The experience was great and the finished music video even more amazing. This was the genius of director Mark Romanek.
This coming September, Palm Pictures will be releasing their next series of Director's Label DVDs featuring the work of groundbreaking directors, including Mark Romanek. The DVD will feature Romanek's best work in music videos, exclusive new works, as well as interviews and commentaries from the artists and other collaborators. This includes commentary from Mr. Hahn on "Faint."
"…We come from a visual background and we're really hard on making everything enhance where the music's going. For me, there's only a short list of directors that I would trust as far as making that happen and Mark Romanek is definitely one of them."
