Sorry for so much news people :O theres just err..a lotta LP stuff going on

Anyways, Brad joined the Little Kids Rock organization, and is on their Board of Directors. Article is below:

July 22nd, 2005— Indianapolis, IN - Little Kids Rock (LKR) an innovative non-profit program that provides free instruments and free music classes to children, announced today that Linkin Park guitarist, Brad Delson, will be accepting a seat on their Honorary Board of Directors. Mr. Delson’s post on the LKR Board of Directors will begin immediately and will help the organization gain visibility as it provides free music education to children across the country. Mr. Delson and the band members of Linkin Park have a long and notable history in philanthropic endeavors. Mr. Delson’s current involvement in Little Kids Rock is just another example of how these generous artists have chosen to use their celebrity in a way that helps make a difference in the world.

”I’m extremely happy to be involved with an organization that provides such a positive opportunity for young people, says Mr. Delson. “Music education can be an invaluable component of a child’s intellectual, personal, and creative development.”

“We are extremely proud in the amount of diversity represented in our Honorary Board. With the addition of Brad Delson, our board truly speaks to just about every music genre,” says Executive Director and Little Kids Rock founder, David Wish. “We are inspired by Brad’s continued support of worthy, charitable causes and are happy that he has chosen to assist us in our music education efforts.”

Brad Delson is the latest name on LKR’s growing list of high profile supporters. Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, BB King, Jason Newsted, Les Paul, Dave Mason, Rick Springfield and NY Mets pitcher, Al Leiter are all honorary members of the Board of Directors. Carlos Santana’s Milagro Foundation has purchased more than $10,000 worth of instruments for the program. Bob Weir and members of the Grateful Dead have funded classes. The String Cheese Incident has held silent auctions for the organization. John Lee Hooker was a founding Board Member and visited classes before his passing.
