The thing I remember is that my chemistry teacher, she is a forensics major, was actually called & asked if she can go to Ground Zero & help in the recovery effort. The only reason she said no, is because she couldn't miss that much school to go out there & help.

I totally remember that day
I was in 4th grade and I was in Math when I kinda heard what was happening
I came home and I was ready to go to a MLB game when my dad said it was cancelled
He told me to turn on the tv

It was like 7.45 am. I was in the fifth grade. I step into a silence classroom. My teacher Mr. Gann sat on a student desk with a remote in his hand. Two other classemate followed his gaze into a telivision screne. An anchorman schokingly expressed "..The...I mean i just cannot belive what I am seeing! One of the towers in New York has been hit!" My eyes transfixed on the tower. The camera angled to the sight of another plane flying. I almost flinched as the plane flew into the second tower. *I flashed back to yesterday morning.* "Alright, well Ill see you guys in a week. I gotta make it to the trade center in about 5 hours." My dad picked up his suitcase and walked up to the airline lady and gave her her ticket. *That Night* "...And right next to the towers is this really old church. They have it kind of like a museum." "Alright, dad goodnight I'll talk to you tommorow..bye. Oh see if you can go to the very top thatd be awsome." *Flashes back to present time* "Oh MY GOD! People are litterally jumping from building trying to save their lives."

I don't like the song at all. You can tell it wasn't by LP, because they wouldn't have skipped beats, and they wouldn't have split up chester's verse.

And besides, the whole thing was Bush's fault. I'm sure he knew about it. He just wanted to be an attention whore, they had videos before it happened.

I was in 5th grade and my class went to art and the teacher had the tv on. I was dumb back then so I thought someone accidently drove their airplane into it lol, and I remember we didn't have recess that day because they thought we were gonna get bombed or something i dunno what the point of that is becasue if we got bombed while we were inside we'd still get bombed lol and thats dumb and yeah shuting up.

my story is a bit lighter... 5th grade, 9:30 AM (Tuesday morning) a lot of kids started to get called to the office for dismissal, we were all confused, and my friends and I (jokingly, of course) came to the conclusion that these kids were being sent not to the office, but to the adjacent cafeteria where they were being turned into hamburgers. So then the principal came in and explained this to us... and then some people cried because there parents were somewhere in NY (maybe not even close to the WTC).
Later, when almost everyone had been dismissed, me and a friend were playing that game with stacked blocks (forget what it's called, that game where you stack them 3 on 3 in alternating directions and then pull them out and try not to make it fall) when my hand hit the tower of blocks and didn't fall down, but instead made a curved tower. Our question: It happened to our tower, why not to the World Trade Center?


I hate this mix because of Bush's presence in it. Great mix, Bush sucks. That's all.

A quick note, first, about what counts as a "Bush = Hitler" allusion for these purposes. Obviously, someone saying "that George Bush guy is just like Hitler" counts. So does the ever-so-creative addition of a little Hitler-style mustache onto photographs or cartoons. So too does someone starting out "George Bush isn't like Hitler..." and then continuing "...but given X and Y and Z you can understand why some people are saying he is". So too does someone starting out "George Bush isn't like Hitler..." and then continuing with flattery of Hitler "...because Hitler was elected / didn't drink / actually served his time in the army". Implying that the Nazis were behaving better than the US certainly counts, such as "Not even the Nazis treated their prisoners this badly".
