hey everyone. got bored and this has just been on my mind for the past couple of days for no appearant reason. anywayz...
i'm sure everyone has noticed the drastic changes(image) Chester has gone through. now this is just my opinion but back in the Hybrid Theory days I guess you can say Chester dressed more... ROCK? (i guess you'd refer to it as that) ... while lately(post-Meteora) he's gone .. EMO? (i dont really know too much about this style -clothes/music- it just seems that chester is taking on an emo look).

curious to know what everyone else has to say about this.

Image changes are part of a famous singer as he is, maybe for the next album era, we see him similar to Hybrid Theory days.

well i'm sure there's a reason behind it. I'm mean 'seriously' from Hybrid Theory Chester has changed a lot. Personally I like his look back in hybrid theory, but thats just me. i loved his image back then. I thought he was original and it brought out a lot of his good looks... not that thats really changed. Im not complaining.. just commenting. I also heard that he really liked "the Used" which of course is an emo band... so maybe he's just trying a new look???

I like most of his looks, except for maybe the look on the Papercut video. That was horrible if you ask me. But his boy-ish look from OSC, nerdy look from Numb and the haircut and all that he had when they did RaR 2004, all have something nice and cool about them. I'll leave it up to the girls to say whether he is sexy in this and that. If I were Chaz, I'd keep the look he had in either the Crawling video or the Numb video, those were kind of honest and kind of cool too.

Yeah i'll admit the look in the numb vid was hot! ...i'm more about his OSC look though :D and speaking of that (i realize this is rather irrelavent) but for some strange reason something posessed me to think he was part asian hmmmmmm.... like i said i dont know what posessed me to think that....

For me, I like both. His old look he like dressed more like "rock" but also "crazy" at the same time. I liked it because he took off his shirt a lot too, lol. But I also like his new look because he seems more calm and to me he looks sexy like that :D

i think Chester's recent looks have become much more mature than his early HT ones were. in the beginnin' he luked like a young crazy dude or smth & now he has become older & luks more like a man if ya know what i mean...
& this refers to all of the LP members, they've changed a lot recently, but their changes are definitely for good! ;) compare these two:)))

He was definately more "rock star" and "crazy" back in the HT days........But he really does look good in all of his styles. I liked Papercut, OSC, and Numb video styles best......Actually I loved them all, but those are my favorite looks for him.

But I liked his Numb look a lot and his Crawling look too... I liked the blonde spikes a lot.

His OSC and Crawling looks were the coolest. I liked him better like that. But looks dont affect the person or singer that he is. I just wish he went back that way. I copied his hair style from those days. lol

I agree I liked the old Chester, but think about it. He has a kid now doesn't that mean he's going to have to dree a little "maturely"?

chester looked so sexy in the one step closer video, the numb video, and the crawling video, and especially "from the inside". i really loved his spikes. but i didnt like the mohawk or the plaid pants. but he does look good in every thing. :rolleyes: DUH! its chester! he is so sexy *blush* :D

I think so too. I think in his HT days he was more original and did his own thing when it came to that. Now with his punk/emo look.... well, its not very original. So far from what i read most everyone likes him in HT. I really dont agree with those who said he was more mature. I think all the guys have changed... they've become comfortable with their rock star persona and it shows. just because he has a son doesn't mean he needs to take on a more mature role. And about the person who sent the pix. sure he looked more "mature" in the first pic but thats not the look i'm refering too when I said punk/emo.

its weird because when i think of his look back in the HT days, the word industrial comes to my head for some reason...meh...but i think he looks the best in Numb and From the Inside. and i actually dont know what style i like better on him...i think hes always looked great... :)

lol yeah chester's great no matter in what way...though in the past he wore more to rock but I'm only start to be a fan after they release meteora so I think now his mature look is cool too(of course HT's my fav too)......hmm he used to had blonde hair but now he got black hair, makes me wonder what's his original hair colour??

its not any special look in a video but i think my fav look for him (one i've seen promo pics of in magz etc) is when he's got his glass, piked collar, rings, bracletts, lip ring, etc on and his hair is brown and not really long but not real short.

i like him in papercut and Rar (i don't know which year...but i think it's 2004) where he had that strange haircut....black....no hair at the sides...it was like a mohawk...but it was pressed down....(sorry i don't know how to call that cut :D )

but i think chester looks good in everything he wears and with every cut he has :D

p.s. his pants in papercut........woooooooow...i LOVE that pants :D
