David Beckham is a football player :) *I'm from the Uk ;)* I mean yeah he's a great footballer and he's quite popular here, but geez! You can't compare him to a band. I love LP a hell of a lot better than Beckham. Stupid judge >.< I could spot Linkin Park from a mile away. Linkin Park aren't even gonna get the money for their image. Sucks, they should appeal again, that judge was retarded.

That thing with David Beckham might be true, he is as famous as LP worldwide, and he is probably more popular. That counts for the whole of the world, except the US. No one knows Beckham in the US, people hardly know what soccer/football is. But forbidding LP to trademark their posters because they are not as known as Beckham is just plain stupid to me. Ridiculous.

yeah is this only in brittain/uk? cuz appealing it here (if it's "worldwide") will easily be overturned, and they'll get the Trademark/© even if it gets to the supreme court it will win, the famousness (LOL) of a group/person has no impact on if they can copyright their name, unless it was legally given to someone at birth, and if someone's birth name is Linkin Park....i wanna be them aha.

lol that's just stupid! i dont think that judge has ever seen a magazine before. They''re like the number 1 rock band! Esceptially in US and Britian! Man, Linkin Park has a lot to deal with right now... that serial killer, not touring, no just plain Linkin Park CD in forever!, and now this! I'm guessing they have a LOT of stress right now.

Tell me about it. A supreme court judge was appointed the other day here where I live. He was chosen because he is good friends with the Minister of foreign affairs (the prime minister at the time). The Buddy-boy-system controls these kind of things.

I've decided that I don't like David Beckham anymore :) *I only liked him because he used to play for Man united (My home team heh) ;) Now he's moved to Spain so bleh.*

I'm sure people would rather buy the official posters though *I know I would*. From places such as HMV and music stores, they're good quality and large and they look GOOD!

I've seen rip off calendars, posters, stationary from some artists though. They're gross and crap quality, using ugly shots, illaminated really badly, but they are a lot cheaper lol.

Some people are so stupid man :(
