I just can't understand why Figure.09 is called Figure.09 !!!!!! :p
Why 09? What a hell the number 09 is??

Personally, I think that Linkin Park gives the perfect names for all thier songs. That is why I have never really critiqued the meanings. I just enjoy the fact that the name feels right with the song. :D

Regarding to my post about eenie meanie mynie moo, it does help. i do it all the time on tests. People say that the titles go well with the song and that little picking thing is luck, lol. But once again Im only 12 and dont know anything (13 in 9 days baby! WOAH WOO!!!)

isn't it that they name their demos something random before they write the lyrics and after they write the lyrics they decide whether they should keep the demo name or change it to something in context with the lyrics?

Put all the pain you gave to me on display' - Display being the painting of their feelings (pain), and with this painting they think they are releasing/freeing their pain but really it just made them think about it/ or the certain person more that it becomes them. This painting therefore is Figure 9 in a museum or art house or something.

Just my own thoughts....kinda like wood's (if i can call ya that :)) but in more depth.

I've also thought about it while observing the art of Linkin Park and here is my theory (I actually need to show you with my hands):

Mike says '''Nothing ever stops...''' so the top of the 9 goes around like a circle. So maybe it's saying that he's trying to say is that he almost bumped his head twice but went off route and went his own way. Like a roller coaster. Like went on his own. He stopped being like someone else.

I also think that maybe they just wanted to say Figure.09 to be different 'coz that's what LP is. And that's why I love them.
