few months ago in a radio show he sais they'll NEVER do a remix album again, like the reanimation one...
and now? they made a remix album with Jay Z on all Meteora songs...
the song "Numb/Encore" was really cool but I'm still disappointed, after Mike said that they'll never do a remix album again we kept waiting hopefully for a new album! we've been waiting for 6 months... I just thought I should share that with you...

well ummm meteora just came out and i'm ready to wait a while for the new album. i want them to take as much time as they can making this new album, and make it the best they possibly can. i don't want them releasing the new album after 6 months of making it. i mean waiting for a year or two really sucks, but i'm willing to wait for a great album. :D

i think there is some truth there.
i mean, i see the fact, that they probably had quite a good time doing it...since they really like jay-z. and yes, it's not really a remix-album....but i think it has the same thought in it....you know mixing the songs....
personally i don't like that idea of mixing everything you have all the time...i don't see a point in it!

and the thing with promises....i think that it was mike who said a few time ago, that they would never release "breaking the habit" cos it's such a strong, emotional song and it has such a deep meaning for them.....but you know what happened.... :( it has a strange feeling to it for me....

like i said before to all you who say that you really wanted an album from LP alone.

Meteora just came out in March of this year. they NEED to stay and work their asses off on this album, so that it will triple the amount of sales that Hybrid Theory got. i DO NOT want them to release an LP alone album right now because they need to take their time, and not rush to please fans. we should all just wait, and look forward to a great album that they will put out NEXT YEAR.

whoa, whoa, whoa!!! hold up here. you all are arguing over who is a better rapper here, mike or jay-z. do any of you realize how f*cking retarded you all look. they are both artists and if they feel comfortable enough to do a collaboration with one another then you should respect their decisions regardless of whether or not you like the product put out by them. besides, jay-z is friggin' retired, it's not like he is out there competing against linkin park in album sales or anything. i think it's pretty cool that these two artists can come together and meld two completely different genres of music together and actually make it sound as good as it does. i think it's going to be a milestone in linkin park's career as a musical group. how many other artist are out there doing this? i mean, yeah, sure, you got the duos of Aerosmith/Run D.M.C. with "Walk This Way", Aerosmith/Eminem with "Dream On", Ozzy/Busta Rhymes with "Iron Man", and Ozzy/Lil' John & Trick Daddy with "Crazy Train", but out of all those, how many are actually a meld of two totally different songs? None. It's one song with someone else coming in and completely redoing it with all new lyrics and feels. I think what Linkin Park and Jay-z are doing is pretty d*mn cool for the industry. So why dont you all quit all your undercutting and negative approaches, and actually give it a chance. If you still don't like, then that's your opinion, but dont go around bashing it because there are fans out there that like this new style.
