probably not actually, most bands start touring before they release their album.

Yeah but didn't they state they wanted to release an album then hit the road?

If anything I'm guessing they will drop a single before they start touring.

its been on this forum for awhile too, i think its been mentioned a few times in threads alreddy. lp also sed in a few interviews that they ll be releasing their album around june, july.
in any case, this isnt a LP world tour, the japanese concerts are simply them being invited along with metallica to headline a rock concert there. this isnt a tour, but rather a special thing, like live in texas, it wasnt part of their tour originall until they were invited by metallica to join them.

Then it means they will be performing the songs from Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, or Meteora...I wonder if Chester will sing one of his own songs, like Morning After..

dont write LP off, if they dont release the 3rd album b4 they tour, they ll be PREVIEWING songs during the concert to gauge the audience to see which one they like.
they did that last time with faint, somewhere i belong and from the inside at various concerts if i remember, so expect a few ripping tracks off the 3rd album in japan =]

I really hope that you have that set as day, month, year.

Because there's no such thing as 13 months.

It's the european way.. :/ but yea.. I know what you mean.

damn I'm so used to american standards I sometimes have the tendancy to write the date on my school test as Month/Day/Year... not good XD

Reflectionist

Day, month, year makes more sense anyway, if you're doing numbers, but if you're doing words, like

May 21, 2006, then it's... may 21... lol

21 May, 2006

so it's automatically
21/05/06 here..

If they album was to be released in, lets say september, they would do shows august such as the Japan shows and then procede an LPU tour. They would than probably co-headline a tour with another group who is about to release an album (Papa Roach) or a group thats already on tour (Nine Inch Nails etc.) in early fall. Late fall, they might do a European & UK tour with a stop in South Africa somewhere in there. Come early 2007 is when they break out their headling US tour, PROJEKT REVOLUTION, and tour into early spring. In late spring into early summer they may do some Australia, Japan, South America etc. concerts and then head back to europe to do festival touring (Rock AM Ring, Download Festival). Into summer they would embrack on another large tour...maybe OZZFEST as one of the main acts. From late summer into winter they may do some club touring, radio shows, and festivals. Early the next year, we could see them on a massive headlining world tour that would take all of spring. Early summer would be their final shows in Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan and other eastern countries. The summer time they will tour for Projekt Revolution again and once that tour ends, the touring cycle for the new album will be complete.

So here's the break down:

LATE SUMMER 2006: The Japan shows, LPU tour
EARLY-MID FALL 2006: Co-headlining tour with another big group
LATE FALL 2006: European & UK tour with a stop in South Africa
LATE WINTER-EARLY SPRING 2007: Projekt Revolution tour
LATE SPRING-EARLY SUMMER 2007: Australia, Japan, South America tours, European festivals
SUMMER 2007: Large tour (OZZFEST maybe)
LATE SUMMER-EARLY WINTER 2007: Club touring, radio shows, festivals
SPRING 2008: Massive world tour
EARLY SUMMER 2008: Final European, UK, Australia, & Japan tours
SUMMER 2008: Projekt Revolution (last tour for album)

Mike said he would take LP to australia/NZ if he found that the audience level was intense enough.

judging on how good he had a time in both Aus/NZ, theres lil doubt he ll bring LP down here =]
