Just a few seconds ago i found the papercut demo on Limewire when searching for LP demos. It was labled:

"Linkin Park- no title- 05- Papercut (Demo)"

At first i thought it might be the album version but when i started to download it, it was taking longer than my usual downloads and when I played it, the song sounded in the same vain as the rest of the demos. Theres no difference in the lyrics at all and the song is nearly the same way LP plays it live with the track being at about: 3 mins and 10 seconds.

Trust me this is the demo so look for it now and hope you find it.

So now the papercut demo exists and has been discovered, it can only be a matter of time before we find the other demos floating around out there.

Edit - I found it

Although some parts do sound a lil hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I dunno this does sound a lil new to me some bits sound faked though so I wouldnt write off a fake but i wouldnt write off a real version.

I would say either some sort of mix between versions or a demo as some parts sound a bit iffy unless they are genuine mistakes.

is it the one that sounds live except there's no crowd?

Because that's a soundcheck that they released.

Indeed, its a soundcheck. Its not the demo at all, for its been around for awhile. I found it on an LP site months ago.

actually it was labeled as a sound check but in real truth, someone made that and a points of authority soundcheck. they are claimed to be from BBC, the 01 radio gig LP did, but all someone did was take the 2 songs into a sound program and edited them.

the supposed papercut and points of authority soundchecks are not real and have been proven fake by several people, including energy of LPfuse.

they arent demos and they arent soundchecks, theyre edited by a pretty clever guy and are from the BBC gig I think 9-14 (correct me if im wrong on the date).

dont worry, even I mislabeled them on my LP media list. I claimed them as soundchecks and put them as rare, but they were fake so I'm gonna have to fix it.
thanks.
