Thousand Little Pieces

[[LP] In The End]

"LINKIN PARK have set "Thousand Little Pieces" as the title of their new album, due this summer via Warner Music. The CD is being recorded in Los Angeles with producer Rick Rubin (RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS, BEASTIE BOYS and RUN-D.M.C.)

Name of the album comes from title of James Frey's book, "A Million Little Pieces". Mike Shinoda, LINKIN PARK rapper, revealed some info about their new effort:

"We wanted to do something different, go out of box. I think this title describes it all-- new way of working with material, new sound and lyrics. Now, when our fans are not yet familiar with new songs, they can't fully understand how this title links with it, but we hope they'll love it, as we all love it right now," said Shinoda. "We can't wait to let you guys hear this new stuff," he added.

Last, but not least, Shinoda revealed 3 titles for new songs from about 16 that are scheduled for: "That Day", "Back To You" and "Scramble". He said, that they could be changed, so don't take it for 100% sure.

Thousand Little Pieces will be the follow-up to 2003's "Meteora", which has sold more than 10 million copies."

I really don't have anything to say right now. Oh my, it's real album! For almost three years I've been waiting this and now I got that name. "Thousand Little Pieces". It's sounds great, but it's SO DIFFERENT name than "Hybrid Theory", "Meteora" and all that.
Damn, I'm shaking ! :O I haven't recognize how much I have waited this album. I can't wait anymore !

That just cracked me up - bigtime! I was like... 'is this for real?' But then when I read further I just started grinning like an idiot.
Forgive me for saying so but knowing that even (and especially) the band members themselves love to play practical jokes, I wouldn't have been at all surprised had they leaked that one themselves just to see what kind of reaction they got.

I usally see LPU as a last resort for confirmation these days - seeing as how they're like 3 months behind in general news. I go to The Linkin Park Times. If it's not there at least then I get suspicious. Other than that... it's just commonsense. And a lot of snooping :p

i dont see wats rong with the title even if is false, i mean its gonna be somthing from that book million peices w.e right? so wats rong wif thousand little pieces, i mean they took hybrid theory being their past name for their 1st album, then meteora which was somthing they found during a tour of greece? a statue or somthing which inspired the name for Shinoda. so i dont see y they coodnt use thousand little pieces, it jus sounds a lil nooby, like it givs u a "first album" that needs a name feel?
