I have an interesting point here. I don't know if it has been discussed or not, I apologize if it has.
In Nobody's Listening, there's that voice: "c-c-c-c-coming at you you" and at the end "coming at you from every side"
I always thought of this as being only from Nobody's Listening, although in Reanimation, in the High Voltage remix; "High voltage (the unforgettable sound) High Voltage (Coming at you from every side)" or somthing along those lines.
Where did "Coming at you from every side" come from anyway? Had they already recorded Nobody's Listening when they made the high voltage remix or vice versa?
IMO, I think LP should make an album with thier ideas for songs that they never recorded. In there they should put a song called "Coming at you" (from every side) and then there is a simple explanation. Yes, it is messign with time, but who cares? :p
Any explanations / comments?
Thanks
I beleive Mr. Hahn did use the sample from High Voltage when LP wrote Nobody's Listening, thats a very good point! :D
And the first time we heard "coming at you from every side" was in the High Voltage Reprise around 2001. Nobody's Listening was released in 2003, so it came about 2 years or so before Nobody's Listening.

I think it's quite obvious that the chorus line came before the sample. Hahn, or Mike, sampled the chorus line to add to NL I believe, and as Cyro said, the timeline supports this.

mmhhh, LP have many samples like this:
It goes like this
And you do it like this
was a bad fun, lets try something else
Comming at you from every side
watch them flee
...
...
...
so i think it´s a part of LPs Music^^

Of course it's part of their music.
LP CD's booklets always say something like this:
Mike Shinoda: MC (+ all the other things hed does), samples
Joe Hahn: turntables (and the other million things he does), samples

Mike also uses the line "Watch them flee" on one of the LPU album tracks called "Dedicated" which is originally his line from "It's Goin' Down."

Isn't that originally from Dedicated and was then sampled to IGD? Cause Dedicated is a few years older...
