holyyy shit FM copies even more stuff >_<
they copied the name bloc party from this song, used the guitar riff and used the little scream during the verses too O_O except they redid it.

so much for mikes all original ideas :(

because thats what a mixtape is, sampling the background music from other songs to use in a new song

lol yeah, the songs you call original are probably not original, probably just like these, samples basicly. Green maybe did new beats, but the melodies are most likely sampled, cause as Hy said, it's a mixtape...

They are simply promo tapes they often do covers and nearly always sample other songs....

Most mixtapes use recycled beats ppl dont freak. Its just to give u a taste of whats to come

edit: please tell me you new bloc party was a sampled beat....
